'25 CITY COLLEGE SPRING SHOW

GALLERY OPENING | BRAND IDENTITY | WEBSITE DESIGN

OVERVIEW

Each year, San Diego City College Design hosts a Spring Show and Portfolio Review, celebrating the graduating class and their creative journeys. A tradition of the program is to select an alum from the previous graduating year to design the following show. I was honored to be chosen to create the brand identity and website for this year’s event.

From August 2024 to July 2025, I developed a concept to honor and immortalize the graduating class, creating Creativity is Always Chaotic—a theme that embraces the messy, unpredictable, and deeply human process behind every creative project. The identity celebrated drafts, experiments, and the in-between moments that shape final work.

This project was a personal favorite, as I had full creative control and infused my own chaotic process into the brand identity. I hand-crafted a mural using the graduating class’ sketches, explored projection mapping, launched a full social media campaign, and designed the showcase website, weaving every element into a cohesive and meaningful visual story.

WEBSITE

Simplified.

The website reflects how the creative process takes over a designer’s mind—through sketches, wireframes, and scattered bursts of inspiration. Built from snippets of culture, connection, and ideas, it mirrors the chaos that fuels creativity.

I infused my own personality into the project while balancing usability and flow, ensuring every student’s portfolio was showcased clearly within the identity I created.

END OF IT ALL

THANK YOU TO MY PROFESSORS SEAN AND BRADFORD FOR LETTING ME TAKE ON THIS PROJECT AND WORKING WITH ME.
I WILL HAVE THIS PROJECT IN MY HEART FOREVER.
